Hydrated Sleep

Hydrated sleep is the secret to great sport and exercise performance.

Drinking water helps energise muscles, controls calories and helps keep our skin looking good; while exercise uses up our energy, our fluids and breaks down muscle.

The work, rest, recovery cycle is vital for our performance, mental well-being and post-exercise gains. Sleep is a core part of this, but regular hydration plays a vital role in getting that good night’s sleep.

As highlighted by the Sleep Foundation “REM sleep, in particular, provides energy to both the brain and body. If sleep is cut short, the body doesn’t have time to repair memory, consolidate memory, and release hormones”.
